Keynote speakers

 

Pascal Caillet is a pharmacist, PhD and public health researcher at the CHU of Nantes, where he also works as a methodologist. Trained in the use of SNDS data since 2011, he has since made it a privileged source of data for his research, particularly to study cancer prevention practices or  how various drugs are used in general population.

 

 

​Amir Nakib received a M.D. in Electronic and image processing in 2004 from the University Paris 6. In December 2007 he received a PhD degree in computer Sciences with great distinction from the Université Paris 12 (France), and habilitation in 2015 in computer science and artificial intelligence.

His research in LISSI laboratory focused on the design of Metaheuristics to medical image processing. After his PhD, at the middle of 2008, he has got a position as the CTO at Logxlabs a startup where he worked on the design of meta- heuristics for different industrial problems and medical imaging.

Since Sep. 2010, he is associate professor at Université Paris Est Creteil (UPEC), Laboratoire LISSI, where he does research on stochastic global optimization and its application on medical image processing and artificial intelligence.  He published more 150 papers in international journals, book chapters’, papers in proceedings of international conferences, and 4 edited books and two patents. He also participates to many R&D projects and deployed some open source software. He was the head the department of computer science of UPEC between 2017 and 2019; and manages since 2015 MD in data science.

 

Christian Rabaud is Professor of Infectious and Tropical Diseases at the Nancy Faculty of Medicine. He is President of the Medical Establishment Commission of the Nancy CHRU. Vice-President of the French National Observatory for Epidemiology of Bacterial Resistance to Antimicrobials (ONERBA). Member of the Health System and Patient Safety Commission of the French High Council for Public Health (HCSP). President of the Lorraine Institute of Occupational Medicine.
